For immediate release: Stratos Jet Charters, Inc. announced this afternoon that it will continue to offer one-way jet charter service to new organizations traveling to Haiti to report on the tragic Port-Au-Prince earthquake.

Stratos Jet Charters, a worldwide air charter agency, is currently arranging
jet charter flights from Miami and Fort Lauderdale to the Santo Domingo Dominican Republic (MDSD) airport and Port-Au-Prince airport. With as little as four hours notice, Stratos Jets agents can arrange a jet charter flights on a heavy cargo jet for news crews carrying heavy filming equipment to the Dominican Republic Airport, where weight limitations are less restrictive.

Stratos Jets is currently offering
one-way charter service from Ft. Lauderdale International Airport (KFLL) to Port-Au-Prince or Dominican Republic on a 12-passenger commuter aircraft starting at a price of $15,750. The flight to the Haiti takes about three and a half hours to complete, and news crews can rest assured that their aircraft meets with the highest safety standards.

According to Joel Thomas, President of Stratos Jets, his air charter agency has already arranged a successful
one-way charter flight to Santo Domingo for a news crew and will continue to offer the same service to other news organizations and news crews.

Thomas said that natural disasters generally cause aircraft operators to gouge prices for charter flights. He says that's why it is important to work with expert charter agents who can find the safest aircraft option at the best, available price.

Thomas said that he feels he has a moral obligation to help media organizations reach the Haiti disaster site as quickly as possible to report any new information to the public.

"After disaster like the Haitian earthquake, it's important that reporters keep the public informed on any new information," Thomas said. "Stratos Jets has the ability and the privilege to find the safest aircraft for our news crews traveling to the Port-Au-Prince disaster site."
